Class Flow:

Our cooking classes are designed to be fun, hands-on, and full of learning! Each class follows a gentle routine so children feel comfortable and excited to participate. This is a one hour drop off/pick up class.

     Welcome & Introduction –

We start with greetings, setting intentions for the class, and a quick overview of what we’ll be making. We do have an icebreaker every class where we are talking and sharing about the topic we are learning about.   

  Hands-On Cooking –

Children dive right in! From mixing and measuring to stirring and decorating, each step is adapted for their age level so everyone can participate.

 Storytime or Inspiration –

While our creations are cooking we begin with a short themed story, picture book, or fun discussion that connects to our recipe of the day.

     Learning Moments –

Along the way we explore math, science, reading, and teamwork skills woven naturally into cooking.

    Enjoy Together –

At the end, students get to taste and share their creations, celebrating their hard work, take sweet pictures for mom/dad that fill them with pride.

    Closing & Clean-Up –

We end with a short reflection and review. We say our cheerful goodbye until next time, and get ready for pick up!

School Attire:

We do not require our School Of Caroline t-shirts to be purchased or worn, but we do encourage them! Cooking with kids means lots of exploring— colorful foods, natural dyes, and the occasional splatter. Our class t shirts helps keep those gorgeous everyday clothes safe at home while giving little chefs a uniform they’’ll be proud to wear.
